Dead men’s bones and uncleanness

Yeshua said in Matthew 23:27:

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.”

In Numbers 19:11, we are told:

“He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.”

Those who touch the dead are unclean for seven days. In fact they must wash themselves with water on the third and seventh day to be clean.

In Luke 11:44 Yeshua also says:

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.”

Walking over a grave, unbeknownst, is clearly also an issue – an issue of uncleanness.

Yet somehow, the catholic church justified building churches surrounded by graves, even the aisles of many old English churches are made up of headstones! Every catholic church has a crypt beneath the altar with a relic of some saint – a bone, a skull or a whole dead body. The catholic church also built human bones into it’s very buildings – in some of the most gruesome and disturbing images I have ever seen.

Sedlec Ossuary is estimated to contain 40,000 – 70,000 people’s bones.

The last of these, for me, is the most disturbing of all – the whole tone of the place is simply evil. That is, as we might say, one creepy place! You can see and read more information here: Link

The catholic church would be the first to tell you that the Law of Moses is done away with. That church , with it’s rosaries, it’s confessionals, stations of the cross, purgatory etc. – resulting, let me add, in no catholic ever feeling sure of their salvation!

That church, full of uncleanness – outwardly, the pope dresses in white. Inwardly his priests abuse innocent children. Outwardly, the pope preaches ‘unity’ and ‘peace’. Inwardly the catholic church supports abortion.

God’s Law is designed to help us – it’s FOR us. In our lives it should also help us to discern right and wrong in the organisations that would lead us. When we read His word and believe it, we are protected by it from being misled – because we can discern that a church which is full of uncleanness cannot be a place of anything but wolves.

We are sheep, let us follow our Lord! Let us keep His commandments.

God Bless you
