A couple of weeks ago this headline grabbed my attention, and I screen-grabbed it. I wasn’t sure what I was going to write. My main thoughts and feelings about it were that “This is what you elected him for, America!” and a general “Woo-hoo!”
It all seemed to be good news – yes some griping as always from the media, but money in the pockets of hard-working Americans, and more jobs for other hard-working Americans is exactly what America needs!
And now here we are, with headlines proclaiming that some nasty little journalist has written an explosive book proclaiming that everyone who knows Trump thinks he’s an idiot. How fascinating!
I find it particularly fascinating because somewhere, I assume, he has a speechwriter who makes him sound like a genius when he says (and does) all the right things to get the US back on track. That speechwriter also thinks he’s a moron? Then he and the other puppet masters should be ashamed of themselves. Surely if you worked for a president who is such a moron you would decide on principle to resign?! Funny how these people who he claims to have interviewed have never spoken out before. Can you imagine how elated any press journalist would have been to receive a tip-off that Trump is a moron?!
Well of course the press has been saying this for years. All through the campaign they tried to call him out as just that, yet not only has he won, but he has also accomplished more in his first year in office to boost America than Obama did in eight (that would be, of course, because Obama’s mandate was to destroy the US, as anyone who can recognise a Marxist when they see one, knows).
Trump is not a Marxist. I think Mr Wolff night be one, what do you think?
This telling quote really nailed it for me:
When asked about what impact he expected the book would have, he said: ‘We will end this presidency now.’ (source)
We? Who’s we, Mr Wolff?
I more strongly suspect that this man will indeed be silenced in a very public way by one of the most litigious men on earth – Donald Trump. What Michael Wolff has done, in my view, is utterly immoral. I may moan about how evil Theresa May is, but I wouldn’t publish a book about it, with (as a caveat) a note that it might not all be true. I quote:
The author of the explosive new book about Donald Trump’s presidency acknowledged in an author’s note that he wasn’t certain all of its content was true.
Michael Wolff, the author of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages.
Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.
But some were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing’s workings, in a process Wolff describes as “allowing the reader to judge” whether the sources’ claims are true. (source)
The left are very good at attacking the character of those they disagree with – it’s a known method of the left to silence the opposition. The fact that the Daily Mail has joined in with such unabashed glee doesn’t surprise me – another mouthpiece for the elites!
Will this book end Trump’s presidency? No, it won’t. Will it result in the absolute destruction of Michael Wolff’s career. I suspect so. As one commenter pointed out, this guy Wolff will be crowd-funding his defence before too long. MAGA!
God Bless you
