Peter Hitchens catches a sniff of the coming totalitarianism

I’m sure once upon a time I would have found Peter Hitchens to be a stuffy and “ignorant” journalist. In my youth – when I knew everything. When I was twenty I really felt that everything was very simple. Everything was black and white and the unwise clarity and ignorance of youth (ignorance of the subtlety of life and of people) really was beyond my understanding. In spite of having a high IQ, and access to a good education, there is nothing like, firstly, age (which should bring wisdom, but at least affords experience), and secondly becoming a believer in Yeshua! The second one made the first richer, and less important (worldly wisdom is as nothing in the face of the wisdom of God!)

Peter Hitchens’ writings have changed for me. Not, I think, because he has changed, but because God has changed me and I appreciate them more. He’s a Christian conservative with vast political and social experience and wisdom. His warning today is very stark indeed.

He writes: (Link)

Is THIS a warning? In the past few days I have begun to sense a dangerous and dark new intolerance in the air, which I have never experienced before. An unbidden instinct tells me to be careful what I say or write, in case it ends badly for me. How badly? That is the trouble. I am genuinely unsure.

I have been to many countries where free speech is dangerous. But I have always assumed that there was no real risk here.

Now, several nasty trends have come together. The treatment of Jeremy Corbyn, both by politicians and many in the media, for doing what he is paid for and leading the Opposition, seems to me to be downright shocking.

I disagree with Mr Corbyn about many things and actively loathe the way he has sucked up to Sinn Fein. But he has a better record on foreign policy than almost anyone in Parliament. Above all, when so many MPs scuttled obediently into the lobbies to vote for the Iraq War, he held his ground against it and was vindicated.

In this, Peter is referring to the appalling media frenzy against Jeremy Corbyn for having the apparent temerity to demand the government follow international protocols, produce evidence in the Skripal case (clue: I don’t think they have any), and for this he has been mercilessly mocked and derided.

As I said before, and I quote: “It is also annoying to find myself in agreement with Jeremy Corbyn (a Marxist) who is calling for talks with Putin over the Skripal case). Of course the press paint him as “shameful” for not wanting WWIII!”

I reiterate it is very annoying to find myself agreeing with Jeremy Corbyn, but I have a preference for agreeing with those who are on the side of right, rather than agreeing just with those who are politically on the right. What he has said is correct, and his calls for Theresa May to deal with this properly are absolutely vital and must be heeded. How convenient for the elites that Labour’s leader is a laughingstock who no one listens to! Did they plan this? I would hate to ask!

Back to Peter – he is already noting in his own experience the cooling of attitudes towards anyone who dares to speak up for Russia on the basis of truth, if not affection: [emphasis added]

I have already been accused, on a public stage, of justifying Moscow’s crime in Salisbury. This false charge was the penalty I paid for trying to explain the historical and political background to these events. I wonder if the bitterness also has something to do with the extraordinarily deep division over the EU, which has made opponents into enemies in a way not seen since the Suez Crisis.

In any case, the crude accusation, with its implication of treachery, frightened me. I expect, as time goes by, I will be accused of being an ‘appeaser’ and of being against ‘British values’. And then what? An apparatus of thought policing is already in place in this country. By foolishly accepting bans on Muslim ‘extremists’, we have licensed public bodies to decide that other views, too, are ‘extremist’.

Because the authorities are terrified of upsetting Islam, nothing much will happen to Muslim militants. But conservative and Christian views such as mine will suffer.

And there is the vital piece of the puzzle – I wrote about this before (Read: How to close an open society – UK version. I urge you to read all of that article if you haven’t already, because in it I show the path to where we are now. The silencing of free speech starts with the control of “extremism” as personified by the “invader” (legally allowed in for the purpose). Taking aim at vocal islamists, the laws have been changed and will now affect you and me, dear reader. I quote from that article:

The laws that are being passed to stop *points* those people over there, are equally applicable to the native population who clamoured for those laws to prevent the perceived, actual or even faked activities of *points* those people over there – within our own country.

And behind all this anti-Russian rhetoric, and the devastating effect it is already having on freedom of speech (and freedom of thought) is none other than the CIA and the rest of the deep state (on behalf of their real masters).

Don’t believe me? Do you remember Udo Ulfkotte? He was a german journalist who came out publicly and admitted that he had been given his “talking points” by the CIA. In Germany. Let that sink in for a moment!

I quote from this excellent article: (Link)

An ARD TV documentary titled Strippenzieher und Hinterzimmer (‘String-pullers and Back Rooms’) – showed journalists, ministers and party functionaries consorting in a conspiratorial world of jiggery-pokery away from the public eye [on Youtube[2]; UU’s ARD link gives a 404 ‘not found’]. The journalists featured there considered it normal behaviour, but took offence when challenged. One responded (in an NDR report):

ndr 2

UU comments: so truth is only for journalists?

The site notes that: “Udo Ulfkotte’s book Bought Journalists (Gekaufte Journalisten) was scheduled for publication in English in May 2017 under the title “Journalists for Hire”. However it seems the publication was delayed and then cancelled and to date no copies of the book are available in English.” We should also remember that Udo Ulfkotte died suddenly at the age of 56 in January of 2017. We shouldn’t be surprised, he was becoming vocal. So vocal that Wikipedia has to call his books “populist” “islamophobic” etc.

The truth, as anyone sees it, if that truth goes against the narrative being fed to us in the media, is dangerous. Thus the Marxist methods – discredit and destroy – are used against those who do not come into what Peter Hitchens refers to as the “leaden conformism” being promoted, he says, by the TV and internet.

The war which is brewing is nothing to do with anything Russia has done. It is a war for your mind and your allegiance. Your allegiance must be to the lies of your government or you may be called an extremist (even though your words, actions and adjurations to others are pacifist to the “nth” degree). My goodness when you can get suspended or sacked for offering to pray for someone (get your righteousness off me now!), you know that the thought police are well on their way to a totalitarian state.

May God Bless us with fortitude to speak the truth, even if there is a cost, a penalty, in this world for doing so. Let us try to remain honest in our words (where honesty is least often acceptable to others) and not be swayed by the liars in power.

Lastly, as a nation, we deserve our liars in power. We may despise them – because they are evil – but we deserve them for our acts. Our abdication of moral agency began long ago, and has been encouraged, leading to the permissiveness we see today which God so hates.

Russia is not our enemy. The truth, and words, are not our enemy either. Those who seek to curtail freedoms, or start wars on the basis of lies, are the real enemy of mankind (all mankind – of all colours and creeds).

God Bless you

Medical collusion in governmental tyranny and the NWO depopulation agenda?

There are few professions I can think of which have the power and the trust of the public like the medical fraternity. There is great power and authority in the military, no doubt, but for the general population that is behind closed doors to us – we are not likely to ever be on the receiving end of that evil unless something goes horribly wrong (as it is in the United States right now). We ignore and turn a blind eye to the development of technologywhich can kill millions, or which can maim, or which can cause torment and pain. We simply don’t think it’s our issue – in the main. I am grateful to those who have worked to expose the tactics of the military in these ways.

Where things get sticky is when medicine and military combine in working together for the ends of the state. And of course we all have heard by now surely, of the torture report relating to the treatment by the US military, of detainees who were terrorist suspects. The cruelty, the vile, evil and ingenious methods they came up with to torture prisoners are now apparently known. What you may not have considered however, is the complicity of the medical profession in helping to design and monitor these methods.

Well now there may finally be prosecutions. This Guardian article (Link) exposes the chaos unleashed within the APA after an independent review was published.

“The largest association of psychologists in the United States is on the brink of a crisis, the Guardian has learned, after an independent review revealed that medical professionals lied and covered up their extensive involvement in post-9/11 torture. The revelation, puncturing years of denials, has already led to at least one leadership firing and creates the potential for loss of licenses and even prosecutions.

For more than a decade, the American Psychological Association (APA) has maintained that a strict code of ethics prohibits its more than 130,000 members to aid in the torture of detainees while simultaneously permitting involvement in military and intelligence interrogations. The group has rejected media reporting on psychologists’ complicity in torture; suppressed internal dissent from anti-torture doctors; cleared members of wrongdoing; and portrayed itself as a consistent ally against abuse.

Now, a voluminous independent review conducted by a former assistant US attorney, David Hoffman, undermines the APA’s denials in full – and vindicates the dissenters.

Sources with knowledge of the report and its consequences, who requested anonymity to discuss the findings before public release, expected a wave of firings and resignations across the leadership of an organization that Hoffman finds used its extensive institutional links to the CIA and US military to facilitate abusive interrogations.”

Now you may be thinking that these people who were being tortured were a threat to your country, so getting information out of them was the only priority, however it was obtained, but I want you to watch this short video of water boarding, and take a moment to imagine yourself in that very situation:

Would you be saying anything other than what they wanted to hear? Would you stand that for more than ten seconds without making up ANY story to make them stop? Would you stand that in the hopes of remaining alive, or would you prefer to lie and be executed? These are good questions!

But right now, you aren’t in that position – because you are a civilian in a country which is at peace. Yet, cruelty and evil were and are still being perpetrated against civilians within the medical fraternity. One historical case is the story of the lovely Celia Imrie, who was ‘treated’ by one of the most evil doctors of the 20th Century – William Sargant.

Celia was stuffering from a (rare in those days) bout of anorexia. Her baffled family and doctors submitted her to the care of William Sargant:

“Sargant’s methods were simple: electric-shock treatment and insulin-induced comas leading to continuous narcosis, or deep-sleep therapy, complete with taperecorded ‘brainwashing’ orders being played at the patients from beneath their pillows. And to think that all this came free on the NHS! […]

At 14, I was the youngest in the ward. Most of the other patients were middle-aged women suffering from depression. From my bed, I watched them howling, moaning and screaming, fighting with the nurses. I thought: ‘I don’t want to be mad. I must get out of here.’ […]

Sargant still features in my nightmares. He was brusque and cold, and he never talked directly to you. Instead he issued orders over your head, talking about ‘this one’ and ‘that one’. But that was preferable to making eye contact with this proud, incorrigible man with his dark, hard, evil eyes. I have only seen eyes like that on a couple of other people in my life.

After Sargant left the ward, the nurses would start preparing the horrors he had prescribed for the day  –  the electro-convulsive therapy. Friends have asked what it was like to have electrodes put either side of your skull before huge surges of power were fired through your brain, while you squirmed and wrestled and shrieked and moaned and dribbled into the pillow. But the truth is I don’t remember.

I do, however, remember vividly watching the woman in the next bed when it was her turn to be assaulted in the name of health. I remember every sight, sound and smell. The huge rubber plug jammed between her teeth; the strange almost silent cry, like a sigh of pain; the shuddering contortions and jerky gyrations of the tormented body; the scent of burning hair and flesh.

I remember also the famous Narcosis Room, a ward where patients were forced into a drug-induced sleep for days while tapes played instructions to them from under the pillow. […]

Some years back, I tried to find my hospital records, to see whether I could find out the limits of my treatment and if I had been in the Narcosis Room. I wanted to know the exact instructions on the tape constantly playing under my pillow, Sargant’s wishes drummed relentlessly into my young, unconscious brain.

Unfortunately, my search was in vain. When Sargant left St Thomas’, he illegally took away all his patients’ records. By the time of his death in 1988, every single piece of paperwork about his inhumane treatment of us, the human guinea pigs, had been destroyed. So I will never know the absolute truth. […]

Sargant used to say that every dog has his breaking point – the eccentrics just took longer.” Read Celia’s amazing story here: Link

But that was then, right – I mean we all hope that it doesn’t happen today, but it does. There are so many stories of medical abuse, neglect – and of course let us not forget the massacre in the NHS over the last few years caused by the Liverpool Care Pathway. If you haven’t heard of it, let me give you a small insight. There’s a lot more to this story, and please research it – there’s a lot of information out there. They say it’s been stopped by the way, but it continues, as you will see.

An eminent British doctor told a meeting of the Royal Society of Medicine in London that every year 130,000 elderly patients that die while under the care of the National Health Service (NHS) have been effectively euthanized by being put on the controversial Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP), a protocol for care of the terminally ill that he described as a “death pathway.” Link

A diary of the LCP by the daughter of one of it’s victims:

As a nurse and health visitor with 25 years’ experience, Carole Jones thought she knew the workings of the NHS inside out.

But when her 85-year-old mother Maureen was admitted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge last year having suffered a stroke, she was totally unprepared for what followed.

Her mother’s chances of recovery having been written off by medics, a decision was taken — without Carole’s knowledge — to place Maureen on the controversial Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP). […]

It took Maureen, a widowed mother of two from Haverhill in Suffolk, 12 days to die after her admission, during which time she was deprived of food and water. […]

Carole was by her mother’s bedside, recording in a deeply moving journal her observations, not just as a loving daughter, but also as a healthcare professional.

One member of staff even says that ‘it was hot, therefore (my mother) would lose more fluids so it would not be much longer’. I also understood that I should not even put a damp cloth to my mother’s mouth in case she gleans some moisture from it, which would prolong her life.” Read her full story here: Link

As I said, it continues today:

“The discredited Liverpool Care Pathway is to be “rebranded” rather than abolished, senior doctors have said.

In July ministers said the end-of-life protocals [sic] would be axed, after a damning independent review undercovered [sic] frequent and “heartbreaking” cases of patients being denied water and left desperately sucking at sponges used to moisten their mouths.

Instead, every patient would receive individual end-of-life care plans, following the review led by Baroness Julia Neuberger.

However, doctors who led criticism of the pathway say new draft guidance, seen by the Daily Telegraph, outlining a replacement scheme will perpetuate many of its worst practices, allowing patients to suffer days of dehyration [sic], or to be sedated, leaving them unable to even ask for food or drink.” Link

This may seem like an odd juxtaposition – the collusion of the medical fraternity with the military, and then the work of William Sargant (who had CIA links) and then the Liverpool Care Pathway, yet they all link back to the plans, policies and schemes of the elites who govern the country! Now the US has these so-called death-panels! Really these are conversations with patients to find out what they want when it comes to end-of-life care – just like the NHS is supposed to have here. This is all moving towards straight out-and-out euthanasia of the elderly, the sick, the disabled. It must be fought – family members need to demand that patients are fed and given water. Doctors must be prosecuted for colluding with policies which are tantamount to euthanasia by the back door.

Please be aware of what unfettered power and trust from the public can do – and are doing – when no-one is holding people accountable. In fact these professionals are doing the bidding of the government, and in case you didn’t know this, everything that Hitler did in Nazi Germany was LEGAL.

God Bless you
