Judgement must begin at the house of God (1 Peter 4:17)

Today we see that education secretary Justine Greening thinks that the Church of England should change its stance on same sex marriage, in line with the modern world.

I quote: (Link)

She told Sky News: ‘I think it is important that the church in a way keeps up and is part of a modern country.

‘I wouldn’t prescribe to them how they should deal with that but I do think we are living in a country where people broadly recognise that attitudes are in a different place now to where they were many, many years ago.

‘We have allowed same sex marriage, that is a massive step forward for the better and for me, I think people do want to see our major faiths keep with modern attitudes in our country.’

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! Of course, because keeping up with the fading morals of a depraved society is, apparently, exactly what the church should do. Who on earth would agree with that if they had ever read the bible? Well there are enough hypocritical preachers around, saying exactly that, teaching that we are wrong to condemn homosexual behaviour. The church is very much divided on this issue, conflating love and license into one horrible mess which is offensive to God.

The comments I have seen regarding her speech, of course, are all along the same lines, of ‘try telling the mosques to do that!’

But islam is keeping some kind of law. It’s law is a counterfeit of God’s Law, but they are not hypocritical about it, and indeed I have said before that I believe it is God’s judgement on His lost people (Europe) to be ruled over by sharia, since they will not rule themselves by His Torah!

Judgement begins at the house of God – the C of E will abandon, shortly, I suspect, all pretence of biblical belief, having already embraced transgender sex reassignment blessings (!), thus showing they do not believe that God is all powerful and infallible! God does not make mistakes.

There is little hope in any of our churches – one by one they will either succumb to this foolishness, or they will be forced to (again they are all hypocrites, so this judgement has to come).

The church teaches that the law is done away with – it teaches that we are under Grace, as if that alone should cover all our guilt. We are then left in a sea of moral decision making – because the moral code of Christianity is not bible based (because they reject the law). This leaves wide open doors for satan to come in and deceive them. They wander from one moral viewpoint to another – leaning on their own understanding as to what is right and wrong.

It’s tragic, because God’s Torah is perfect – His way and His will is for His people to have it written on our hearts. To love Him and His law and to follow it with joy!

Until, or unless we do this, we are open to error, sin, foolishness and judgement.

A prayer to pray: “Heavenly Father, teach me to love what you love, and teach me to hate what you hate!” Amen!
